My first session with Alex made me realize the profound impact investing could have on my life. I had always heard how important it was, but I didn’t appreciate its true value until I met with Alex.

I personally do not have a deep interest in managing my investments. I was happy to learn that I could set up an automatic diversified investment plan and instead spend my time on things I do enjoy.

Alex took his time to help me understand how a “set it and forget it” investment plan works. My questions were answered with conviction. His knowledge in personal finance is clear, and his passion for it is evident. I would absolutely go back to him for additional advice about personal finance.

I booked one 3-hour session with Alex to learn more about personal finance. I already had a solid financial system, and have been investing for a while. Still, I wanted to know if I was managing my money correctly or if I was missing opportunities, like investing in specific tax-advantaged accounts.

After sitting with Alex for a few hours, he made it clear to me that I should make few, but necessary changes to my financial system (including credit cards and investments). Currently, I’m very happy with how I manage my money. I highly recommend Alex for anyone who’s interested in learning more about personal finance.

I purchased the comprehensive DRS Money Mentorship program. I found my sessions with Alex to be more helpful than any financial advice / service I have ever paid for in my life. Prior to my finance sessions with Alex, I had a low finance literacy score. After meeting with Alex, I would say I am moving from a beginner to an intermediate very quickly. Alex took the time to explain — in detail — the basics of investing (a subject matter of which — as a lawyer — I have absolutely no background). He spent the time to break down the concepts in an understandable way. I had several questions throughout our session, and he was patient and answered them competently and thoughtfully. He even followed up with me regarding the available tax-advantaged accounts (per my request!) — organized in a simple table format — easily understandable for anyone (regardless of the personal’s financial literacy) to follow along and use as a “cheat sheet” for financial basics. He also helped me eliminate banking accounts, credit cards, and other financial investments that were either unnecessary and/or not the wisest financial decisions I could be making.

Having met with Alex multiple times, I would absolutely hire him again, but the beauty of working with Alex is that after a few financial sessions, you will move from a beginner to an intermediate and not “need” Alex again. Alex teaches you to take control of your finances in a pro-active way, take charge, and be your own master. My law school loans were my number one stressor, and now that Alex has walked me through ways to improve my financial goals in other ways, I feel much less stressed out about them. I know I am working toward my financial goals and that I have the tool set to conquer any financial challenges I may face in the future.

After establishing my financial budget and reworking my financial portfolio, I feel empowered. I know that I am investing for the future, while enjoying the present. People question why we should invest for the long-term, when you can spend your hard-earned money now. Alex showed me that I can do both! Alex has the knowledge and respect for an individual’s desires and financial desires to give objective advice — tailored to each person.

If you want to learn how to confidently manage your own money, I strongly believe that Alex is the money mentor you need. I cannot imagine a more qualified, patient, sweet, smart, competent, and thoughtful financial advisor at a very reasonably-priced rate for what one is receiving.”
